Kaho Senior High School Wind Orchestra
Kaho high school wind orchestra is in Izuka city; Fukuoka prefecture,
It’s a club with 80 years' tradition. In 2008, they participated in the all-Japan music contest for wind instruments as a Kyushu representative 2 years in a row. Moreover, they participated in the all-Japan high school selection music concert for wind instruments seven times, the all-Japan ensemble concert six times, and it participated in the Japan-South Korea friendship high school music for wind-instruments concert as a representation from Japan. In addition, they won the first place for wind instruments section in the Vienna world youth Music festival and received Vienna cultural grand prize.
They value the idea of "Cleanness, propriety, and observe strictly at time", and they love the music, makes an effort, works effectively for music for wind orchestra, and does a moving performance. Today, they will show you the result of the practice.

Conductor Fushimi Nobuhide
He was born in Fukuoka city, in1963. Entered the Kaho high school in 1976, and learned saxophone from Mr.Yuichi Omuro and Mr. Shusei Yoshida. After graduating the National Music College, he played the saxophone concerto with the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra at Fukuoka city and Izuka city.
In 1999, after teaching at Kaho Higashi high school and Kurate high school, he became a music teacher at Kaho high school which he graduated, and lead the wind orchestra. When he was in Kurate high school, he led the wind orchestra to the all-Japan music for wind instruments contest debut, and they were made to participate in the Asia Pacific Ocean music for wind instruments (APBDA) as a representation from Japan. In addition he led the orchestra to the all-Japan music contest for wind instruments 8 times. At Kaho high school, he made the orchestra to the representation of the Japan of the 30th Vienna world youth Music festival. He also led the orchestra to many other music contests.
